Doosan’s condenser tube cleaning
system and debris filter are used to clean the internal surfaces
of tubes in order to prevent any performance reduction of
the condensers and heat exchangers. The system also serves
to remove all types of debris that may flow in with the seawater
via the cooling system. |

The control panel for automatic operation is of a
PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) type, and is designed
to control the order of operation and signal alarms
for control operators. It offers users the ultimate
convenience by incorporating a mimic board, and also
checks the number of sponge balls circulating through
the cooling circuit, and sends letter signals to notify
operators to add/replace the sponge balls. |

| ▷ DPMS |
| |
The DPMS measures the differential pressure of strainer
section in CTCS, and sends differential pressure signals
to the indicator located at the CTSC Local Panel. It
prevents the mechanical damage that can be caused from
excessive differential pressure by automatically “backwashing”
the screen when pressure reaches a certain level. |
