Low voltage switchgear is an economically
designed independent vertical switchgear with separate outer
compartments, featuring a built-in main circuit breaker (ACB
or MCCB), instrumentation, and control and protection systems.
Its vertical bus and cable ground is located at the common
compartment. |
| Switchgear using ACB (Air Circuit Breaker) usually
comes with a drawer for easy testing and repair, but
it can be custom-ordered to come in a molded case. Likewise,
switchgear with MCCB (Molded Case Circuit Breaker) can
also be designed with a drawer, while PT (Potential
Transformer) for bus voltage monitoring comes in a drawer
to be installed in the PT compartment. |
